Automatic search

1. Select the COM port.
2. Click Search.
3. The application tries, in order:
   • The selected address and baud rate
   • The general address 00
   • Every address from 01 to 99
   • If nothing is found, the other baud rates (9600, 4800, 2400, 1200)
4. When the device is found, all settings are read automatically.

During the search the radar icon spins, a progress bar fills at the top and the address being scanned appears in the status bar.

Stopping the search

Click the same button (Stop) again while the search is running.

If the device is not found

• Check the power supply voltage.
• Swap the A / B wires and try again.
• Make sure the correct COM port is selected.
• Make sure no other program is using the port.
• Unplug and reconnect the USB converter, then click refresh.
