Analog Output Calibration
Analog output points
The 4mA Output and 20mA Output fields set which pressure values the analog output corresponds to.
Example: entering 0 and 10 gives 4 mA at 0 bar and 20 mA at 10 bar.
Calibration steps
- Connect an ammeter to the transmitter's current output.
- Turn on the Calibration of analog output switch and confirm.
- Select 4mA Cal. The device forces its output to 4 mA.
- Watching the ammeter, use the Trim buttons to bring the output to exactly 4.000 mA:
«/»: 10 steps‹/›: 1 step
- Select 20mA Cal and repeat for 20.000 mA.
- Turn the calibration switch off. The device returns to normal output.
- Click Save.
Note: If the application is closed while calibration is on, it sends a command to release the forced output. Even so, always finish calibration by turning the switch off.
