Creating a backup

1. With the device connected, click Backup in the top bar.
2. Choose where to save the file.

The backup file contains the unit, measuring range, analog output points, offset and trim values. The file name includes the serial number and date automatically.

Tip: Always take a backup before changing a device.

Restoring from a backup

1. Enable writing with the lock button.
2. Click Load Backup and select the backup file.
3. Check the serial number, range and date shown in the confirmation dialog, then confirm.
4. Click Save.

Note: The address, baud rate and ID are not restored from a backup. They stay as they are on the device.
